Almond Oil has been discovered in a burning oil burner.

The Irish Examiner reported on Thursday.

The oil burner was found in a home in Stalybridge in Wicklow county.

It was found by a resident who was working on a project to remove the fuel from the burner when it went off.

The home is owned by a man who lives in the property.

The man who found the burner said he had a few scrapings of the oil in his garden.

A fire brigade was called to the scene after the fire department was called.

The fire department has been contacted for comment.

The fuel was discovered by a woman who was looking after her garden.

She said it had burnt for hours and was on fire when she first found it.

She and her husband were able to get it out but said they have not yet been able to assess its contents.
